The sewing cutting table that I have is apparently no longer available from Walmart and must have been a one-time buy type thing for Mother’s Day. I’ve gotten a lot of emails and a ton of web hits because of this sewing cutting table! Amazing! So I’ve done a bit of Googling and found some alternatives for you.
Craft Table For Laundry Sewing Or Garment Care
Here’s one that’s listed for only $99. Not bad, compared to some prices I’ve seen. Not as many drawers and such on it, but it would get the job done and serve the purpose nicely. Click the image to see a larger size. It folds down, so it does save on space. Here’s some stats on it for you:
- Completely supported 36″ x 59 1/2″ laminated work surface
- Set at a comfortable 36″ height
- Sturdy, lightweight metal frame with locking coasters
- Folds into a compact size as shown.
- Dimensions:
- Full: 36″ x 36″ x 59 1/2″
- Half: 36″ x 36″ x 36″
- Folded: 13″ x 36″ x 36″
- Weighs 60lbs
This one is pretty close to the same features that mine has, and it comes in white (which I wish mine was) or oak. The site did not list a price, but said to call for pricing. **Note: while I have provided a web site link with each of the above tables, where you could order them online, any of the above tables could most likely be ordered through your local sew & vac store, so I would suggest you try there first (it would certainly save on shipping!), and you could build a rapport with a local sewing machine dealer too. Always a handy thing. ![]()
Okay, now if you have the space, and the funds, the options available at this web site are enough to make ya swoon. I’m not wanting to make anyone lean toward coveting, so if you have that tendency, don’t look – but, my oh my, I could get my sewing room designing frenzy going with these lovely setups they have.
If funds are really tight, then you could always make your own sewing cutting table from kitchen counter top material, wood, or any other material you’d like and mounted to the wall, or fashioned onto legs adjusted at the right height to suit you. You could even take the top from an old dining room table and either replace the legs with taller legs to make it the right height or mount one side to the wall on hinges and folding legs on the outer two sides. With a little skill and creativity, you, and/or someone you know, could certainly build your own.
Hopefully these will help you find a cutting table to suit your craft and sewing needs.

[...] the above option is a bit out of your price range, I do have a page of other more affordable sewing cutting table options I’ve found on the web. Perhaps one of those might work for you. [...]
