We’ve been officially done with homeschool for the year for about two weeks; however, as you can tell by my lack of blog posts – life has been a bit busy.
While our homeschooling year went fabulously well – I’m looking forward to a break for the summer.
We’ve been homeschooling since 1998; and during that time have tried numerous curriculum and homeschool styles of learning to find what works for us. We have found it!! Believe me – when you find what works for your family, you’ll know it and homeschool life goes much smoother.

Do you school year-round, or take some time off in the summer?
We are just finishing our first “official” year of homeschooling – 3 more days! We’re also looking forward to a break for gardening, relaxing, and having fun! We may sneak some fun schooling in this summer, as it takes some of the pressure off getting our 180 days in during the official school year.
