Sorry I’ve not blogged here much lately. I’m around, and if you follow me on Twitter you’ll see I’m very active there or on Facebook. I’m also blogging on my business site and have been very busy business-wise, as my husband is out of work, so I’m trying to kick my business into high gear to hopefully make it so he can just retire and I’ll provide for our family. He has indicated this is fine with him – and he would then do my bookkeeping, help homeschool the children, etc… so it would then make my business more a family run operation. It’s just a lot of work.
Anyway, if you’ve been following me via Twitter, you’ll know that earlier this week my mother-in-law had a severe stroke. Her entire left side was paralyzed. My father-in-law was given the option by the doctors to give her this shot that they said would (to sum it up to a very fine point) cure her or kill her. The survival rate for someone who takes this shot is only 17%, but with the severity of her stroke, her full recovery rate was not good. Yet if the shot worked, the success rate was very good. That’s a lot of if’s. So my father-in-law prayed and decided to let them give her the shot.
I immediately posted for prayer on Twitter, which also automatically posts on my Facebook wall. Within 30 minutes I had at least 50 replies in my Twitter replies of people praying, I had well over 100 soon after. I stopped counting after that.
When my husband went to the hospital and told his parents about this, they cried. They were overwhelmed with emotion that so many people they did not know, from all over the world, would stop and pray for them. Truly it was touching.
The good news is that the medicine worked! My mother-in-law is up and walking, talking and honestly – you can not tell she even had a stroke. It’s only been 5 days. Yes, the medicine had something to do with it, but I believe it was the prayers of the faithful that decided which outcome the medicine would have for her. Cure! God heard our prayers – even via Twitter!

God is good- IRL and online, huh? Praise the Lord for her recovery!
What a beautiful testimony Traci!!
Praise the Lord!
Traci!
This really touched my heart… I haven’t been on twitter in quite some time… I hope that she continues to recover quickly and PRAISE GOD for his healing hand!
Thanks for sharing this here!
