Excellent concise post. I love tankinis and one-pieces. I usually do all my swimwear shopping online now because trying them on in stores is too embarrassing lol. Plus I can do it in my pajamas and have everything delivered to my front door. I used to use boyshorts and such to hide my curves but they've really come a long way with plus size swimwear in the last 10 or so years. I like to stay pretty conservative since I'm getting a little old but some companies seem to think that plus size swimwear should only be available for older women for some reason. You rarely see plus sizes with styles for young women. Anyway, thanks for the informative post.

Loved the website for HydroChic. I've been looking for this for years. My problem is not primarily modesty. If I had great legs and arms I would pick a concervative suit from Land's End or Eddie Bauer. But as it is, I need to cover up legs down to the knees and arms down to the elbows. Don't want to be accused of sight pollution. Sun protection is a concern also. Years of mega sun exposure has made me a prime candidate for skin cancer. I watch out now. As a baby boomer who would still like to enjoy the beach and water, I have been unable to find any suit that answered all my needs. Now I have it with HydroChic. Great coverage. Great style. No freakish, ridiculous looking garb. THANKS!!!
