Hi Mary - all of the assembly is usually required. When I bought my sewing cutting table at Walmart, it came in large flat box - it was thick, but flat. There's good directions for these tables, and since they are basically boxes with legs, it goes pretty quick. What would take longer, is if you got one with drawers, like mine. Then you have to of course, put the drawers together as well. But no matter if you buy one at Walmart like I did, or online, assembly will be required. Believe me - it's worth it!

Hi Fran - well you need to get yourself a sewing cutting table and then you can fold laundry on it too! Seriously, I thought I was so clever when I looked at the table and a light bulb went off. LOL

Well worth the investment to get one, with it being multi-functional and all. Tell 'Santa' you would like one for Christmas. ;)
