Yesterday was my daughter Emily’s 8th birthday. August 5th will be my granddaughter Lilly’s 1st birthday. We had a party at my parent’s house yesterday for everyone (including my dad, whose birthday was July 24th).

Here’s Emily, excited over receiving a Hannah Montanna card. :P  She also got the Samantha American Girl doll from Mark and me; and other nice things from her grandparents and older siblings.
