Today I went to the Transformed conference here in St Louis, which is a ministry of Way of the Master Ministries. It was awesome!! The conference was really an introduction to the biblical form of evangelism; so it was something I already knew, as I’ve done the Way of the Master basic training course before, and have their witnessing tracts. But, it gave a unique and different perspective to see and hear them in person present this information. Well worth the afternoon spent at the conference.

While I was there, I also bought some books and materials, and got one of my books signed by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron.  Here’s a photo of me after getting my book signed.  That’s Ray Comfort on the left, with the mustache; and Kirk Cameron to the right, and me coming around behind the table after getting my book signed.

Immediately after the conference, I went back to my parents house to have dinner with them, as they watched my children so I could attend the conference.  I immediately put into practice exactly what they taught today at the conference - and handed each of my parents a $1 million dollar bill.  This lead to a witnessing conversation with my father!  I know that he knew the gospel, and had heard the good news before - we’ve discussed it before; and my mother has heard it before as well:  but my dad is the only one that’s even made a confession of faith (yet still doubts his salvation - and thus our conversation today) and my mother never says a word about it, so I pray she’s listening and seeds are being planted.   Family are always tougher to witness to than total strangers!

Anyway - it was a very good day.
