Winter is here and I don’t know about where you live, but it can get mighty cold here in Missouri. We have a rather large home, about 4000 square feet that we are trying to heat/cool. That’s quite a bit of area to cover. We have central heat/air, but we still find that to get the best and most even heat coverage, we use space heaters. One reason is my husband and I like it cooler and the children need it a slight bit warmer. Space heaters give us that flexibility, without needing to turn up the central heat and heat the whole house.

We also have gas logs and a ventless gas fireplace. We love those too! But one project we have planned is to convert our existing garage into a new laundry/sewing-craft room and build a new 3-car garage. When we do that, we will need a new heat source for the newly converted room. I’ve been looking at gas wall heaters and I think this would be a perfect solution for this room! We wouldn’t need to over-tax our existing home central system, we would just add a new smaller separate system for the addition. Simple and more efficient.

But what I really have my eye on, is a nice patio heater! I’m not so much a summer girl, but I love the cool weather of fall or spring. But it gets chilly, and check out these awesome patio heaters from Desa. Wow!!! Desa has some very awesome products. You must check out their web site. They even have power tools!! My husband will love that.
