The children and I finally got those Reindeer Treats made today from Gina’s blog. They turned out so cute!
Hannah, as usual, was right beside me the entire time. Emily eventually decided to join in and help too. Sam did a few, but quickly tired of the whole thing.
I quickly learned that the Almond Bark is quite warm coming out of the microwave, so I filled the pretzels and then let the children do the rest. They had a blast!
We even made enough for the children to take to church tomorrow for their children’s church classes as a special treat to share with everyone.
These are super easy to make; so I can see us making these each year without any problem at all. Aldi’s even carries the Almond Bark, as well as the M&M’s! I did have to go buy the pretzels at Walmart, as most of what I was finding were the mini-sized pretzels, and you need the larger thin sized ones for this.
Emily made one that looked like a rabbit! She laid the ears up and down. So I can see this project being used at Easter too, and making the noses pink! ![]()
