Oh that Hannah! With the two new kitties in the house, the children have acquired new duties: cleaning the cat box. They are each assigned a time of day to scoop the kitty litter (morning, noon and evening) to keep it clean. We have the kittens in my sewing room and to keep them safe and out of mischief at night and when we’re not home (otherwise they run free and play with the children), we have rigged up two unused dog kennels to house the kittens and their litter box, until such time as I can buy the fancy two story kitty condo thingy I would like to get them. The tray in the bottom of the dog kennels works wonderfully for catching any mess from the litterbox.
Well, the second day dawns, and it’s Hannah’s turn to scoop the box and she comes in and says she’s scooped, but needs the vacuum.
“Why do you need the vacuum Hannah?”, I ask.
“Because I can’t scoop up the seasonings.”, she replies.
“The what?!”, I asked, extremely puzzled as to what she meant.
“The seasonings on the floor and the tray. I need to vacuum them up.”, she insists, as she shows me what she is referring to….. the stray cat litter! Ahhhhhh, the cat seasonings.
