I’ve been a very independent person for most of my life. I’m good at multi-tasking. I like to help other people and I believe that’s why God gave me the gifts He did so He could use me in ministry. So for me to be at the point where I am health-wise that *I* need help, is very humbling indeed. Today I have a friend coming over to groom my dogs for me. I have to say, I’m struggling a bit with pride here, because number one, I normally would never let anyone see my dogs ungroomed and number two, let anyone come over here and see my house not “company clean”. Neither of which are done. But I just can’t do it. I need help. It’s a very humbling day to admit that.

Which is why my friend is coming today to help me groom my dogs. I did manage to bathe Mollie yesterday myself, because I had folks coming yesterday to see her and they are going to be buying her. But she was also the easiest of them all to groom (thank you Lord!) with less coat and all. I’m also going to be selling Jack, my Shih Tzu puppy that I bred and whelped myself. (*sniff*) and possibly my Charlie (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). I can not keep up with the grooming, so I need to reduce what I need to do for the good of the dogs, and myself. It hurts me to have to let them go, but I must do it. If I get better later, I can always get more dogs, but for now - this is what I must do. More humbling in the works.

One dog that is not leaving, my neutered 6.5 year old Shih Tzu, Bear. He rarely barks, is a loveable cuddle bug and isn’t going anywhere. I can always take him to the groomer to get groomed. So at least I’ll always have my Bear. Here’s a picture of Bear; because he’s all black, it’s hard to get a good photo, because he mostly looks like an ink blot. LOL

Hello Traci. This makes me so sad. My heart is heavy and I wish I could just make it all go away for you. I hate to think of you in pain and so tired. So, I am praying for healing from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.

Love & hugs to you, Robin

P.S. Let me know if would like any assistance at our SP forum. I may not be able to do much for you (except pray), but I could help you with that.
