Our God is so faithful. I posted a few weeks ago about the parenting classes I would be teaching at church. In part, the delay from the original idea to fruition was because I was trying to write (word-for-word) a parenting class lesson. Not a bad idea, but very time-consuming. So I decided that I should let the Holy Spirit lead the way - and no surprise there, that’s working very well!
Yesterday morning, the Lord laid on my heart the direction for this Wednesday’s class. All of my articles were written at the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When *I* try to sit down and write, it just doesn’t work. But when God directs me to write something - it just flows! The same is true with these parenting classes.
The class attendance has been small - and while I would love it if more people would come, I think there’s been some great conversations going on with the folks there. They’re receptive and open to listening, learning and discussion. Exactly what I prayed for!
There were a couple people that could not make the classes and asked if it could be recorded, but because of where we’re meeting within the church, sound recording isn’t possible. So I’m going to keep notes on the highlights of the classes, and pull it together into an official study/booklet. ![]()
